WHAT IS HEMP EXTRACT?

Hemp extract comes from an essential oil extraction process of the hemp plant that capture the broad spectrum of beneficial compounds found within the plant. The extracted oils include a variety of compounds. While hemp-derived CBD has the strongest medicinal benefit within the broad spectrum hemp oil, other parts of the spectrum (terpenes and other cannabinoids) have a synergistic effect that improves the overall medicinal impact and flavor of the oil.

WHERE IS THE HEMP GROWN?

All of our broad spectrum hemp extract is extracted from 100% Colorado USA grown hemp! We carefully select our hemp for its medicinal properties and flavor.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HEMP?

There are many purported benefits of consuming hemp extracts. These benefits range from a calming or sedative effects, to anti-inflammation, and immune support. However, due to hemp’s only very recent legal status, many claims have not been scientifically proven and none have been validated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

IS HEMP EXTRACT GOOD FOR MY DOG (OR CAT)?

Dogs (and cats) have an endocannabinoid system that can accept CBD just like humans. Hemp extracts have been demonstrated to have a very positive effect on pets. Some common benefits include pain relief and calming effects. Since most of our pets are smaller than us, they need less extract then we do for it to be effective. Please check with your vet for specific questions and recommendations.

DOES CBD SHOW UP IN A DRUG TEST?

CBD is not a psychoactive compound, it is entirely safe to use and will not show up on a drug test. Psychoactive compounds are specifically removed from our extracts before they end up in our products that contain 0% THC.  

WHAT IS CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD for short) is a natural cannabinoid found in hemp plants. Awareness of its benefits is increasing rapidly. Recently, hemp CBD oil and CBD infused products have become an accepted means of relaxation, and the substance’s popularity is rising quickly.

DOES CBD OIL GET YOU HIGH?

CBD is non-psychoactive meaning it will not get you “high.” In larger doses it can have a sedative effect, so don’t take too much unless rest & sleep is what you need!

HOW MUCH SHOULD I CONSUME?

There are no set-in-stone guidelines, your dosage depends on your particular condition. A good place to start is 5 to 10 MG of extract per day and increase as needed.

Our topical ingredients include: Arnica, Magnesium, Vitamin E, Myrrh, Sweet Birch, and Turmeric. Our pet products contain the following ingredients: Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil (no artificial flavors or coloring), 100% Organic Pumpkin, and Natural Peanut Butter and Vitamin E.
